Posted this on Maybe Logic site too. I just wanted to make sure the link worked first before putting in details.

The street shown is one where RAW lived for part of his time in Ireland. I'd forgotten to bring his address with me so can't show the exact house (maybe next time). Very close to Joyce's Tower.

Two photos of Finns Hotel where Nora worked when she met Joyce. Its very close to where Wilde grew up.You can still see the name imprinted on the red brick. Statue to Wilde is in a park across the road from same house.

Shots inside the Joyce Tower. These towers were built as coastal defence during Napoleonic wars. This one is at Sandycove, just south of Dun Laoghaire. Bono and wife used to live in another one further south of this.

Small musem in the one JJ used to live in (for only 5 days) . Some guy living there dreamt of a panther, whipped out his gun and fired off a few shots (in a solid stone room!!). The second time this happened Joyce, (terrified of loud noises anyway) stormed out and never returned. The panther got a mention in Ulysses. There are readings on the top of the tower early morning on Bloomsday. Fab views of the mountains and scenery in summer. Cloudy when I was there alas.
Inside are manuscripts, his guitar, last walking stick etc. The view across the bay is from near the tower, the city of Dublin is to the left, and Howth Head can be seen in the background on the north side of the bay. Vico Road is not far from there. Photo of lunatics swimming in the snot green, scrotum-tightening sea. They said they do it every day!! The Volta was Irelands first cinema - Joyce's idea. It didnt last long though.
